The Waiting Game

Well, I just got word that the surgery has been delayed again, but this time it's not due to anything of concern with Avery.

I guess the hospital is out of platelets for Avery's blood type and they are expecting more to arrive tomorrow from Missouri or Texas.

So, they will wait a little longer...

Everyday is an adventure. She will have many litle steps forward and back till things start to resolve. Hang in there while you ride the rollercoaster. Find ways to build up your strength, there will be many ups and downs in the days ahead. So glad to hear her heart defect is more on the positive side. Amen! We are saying lots of prayers! Kathy Rae

  4. I'm sorry you have to continue to wait. I hope that things can move positively forward soon!

  5. I am so sorry to hear this! I will definitely keep you all in my prayers! You have two adorable little girls!

(By the way, Travis McGarrah is my little brother, and that's how I've come to read your blog)

I'm keeping up with your blog and remembering your sweet family and especially Avery Mae in my prayers. Goldie McGarrah

  7. Everything happens for a reason. God has it all planned out. Let's just keep praying and leave it in God's hands. He is good and Avery will be good! Amen to that!

  8. God's timing is perfect. We will continue to pray.
